SRI LANKA
The world’s largest art project for charity has arrived in Sri Lanka and we are so excited to be producing the letter J of the first ever human alphabet! Check out our page below to learn more about ABC Charity, see some of our past videos and see how you can get involved.
KIDS
We create empowering photography events for thousands of kids around the world together with our Letter Sponsors, Global and Local Event Sponsors, photographers with team, the local community and of course all the kids.
HELPING
The letters created by the kids are sold in the ABC Charity web-shop and 100%of the revenue, after print and transaction fees are covered, is forwarded to a charity of the buyers choice, always a minimum of 90% of the total sales price. DHL is shipping free of charge all over the world and ABC Charity charges nothing for the services thanks to generous pro-bono partners.
KIDS
We register 1-5 kids charities in all countries we produce a letter in our web-shop. These are the organizations the buyer can choose from when purchasing the letters in the shop.
ABC Charity Letter “I” in India
Teaser movie of the ABC Charity event and production in Uttarakhand, India with 432 kids with the Ganges river and majestic Himalaya mountains in the background, showcasing the country’s beauty and landscape. For the letter “J” the vision is to showcase the green lush fields of a tea plantation.
ABC Charity Promo Video
ABC Charity creates photo art with kids in countries all around the world, one letter per country. This movie showcases some of the previous event productions and the Letter E. Introduction by world-famous hockey goalie and ABC Charity Letter Sponsor Henry Lundqvist.
Kids Event
We roll out the red carpet for the kids to create a memory of a lifetime and inspire them to become positive change-makers. They get to play and have fun and at the same time support other kids by creating the letter chosen for their country. We let them experience how fun it is to help other people.
ABC Charity now invites the community of Sri Lanka to co-create the next letter “J” with 500 kids.
Date: The last week of May / first week of June, exact date to be confirmed once we have confirmed location
Event duration: 3-4 h + transportation time
Planned location: In a green lush tea feild with the majestic Sri Lankan landscape as a backdrop
Invited: 500 children (age 6-13) + local community and companies who wants to support
Cost: Complementary for the children, including transportation, food, drinks, entertainment, giveaways and a memory for life.
Photographer: Filip Cederholm Agoo
Location
The location is the most imortant thing for making a stunning picture. The picture shall both represents the country in the best way and raise millions for kids charities, and the more beautiful the picture is the greater chance is it that people want to hang it on the wall.
Our thoughts is to show the beutiful green lush landscape with the significant tea plantations and are currently location scouting on the island.
Get Involved!
Schools
Once we found the perfect location we will connect with nearby schools and charities to find 500 kids to empower and create the letter together with.
