The world’s largest art project for charity has arrived in Sri Lanka and we are so excited to be producing the letter J of the first ever human alphabet! Check out our page below to learn more about ABC Charity, see some of our past videos and see how you can get involved.

We create empowering photography events for thousands of kids around the world together with our Letter Sponsors, Global and Local Event Sponsors, photographers with team, the local community and of course all the kids.

The letters created by the kids are sold in the ABC Charity web-shop and 100%of the revenue, after print and transaction fees are covered,  is forwarded to a charity of the buyers choice, always a minimum of 90% of the total sales price. DHL is shipping free of charge all over the world and  ABC Charity charges nothing for the services thanks to generous pro-bono partners.

We register 1-5 kids charities in all countries we produce a letter in our web-shop. These are the organizations the buyer can choose from when purchasing the letters in the shop.

ABC Charity Letter “I” in India

Teaser movie of the ABC Charity event and production in Uttarakhand, India with 432 kids with the Ganges river and majestic Himalaya mountains in the background, showcasing the country’s beauty and landscape. For the letter “J” the vision is to showcase the green lush fields of a tea plantation.

ABC Charity Promo Video

ABC Charity creates photo art with kids in countries all around the world, one letter per country. This movie showcases some of the previous event productions and the Letter E. Introduction by world-famous hockey goalie and ABC Charity Letter Sponsor Henry Lundqvist.

Kids Event

We roll out the red carpet for the kids to create a memory of a lifetime and inspire them to become positive change-makers. They get to play and have fun and at the same time support other kids by creating the letter chosen for their country. We let them experience how fun it is to help other people.

ABC Charity now invites the community of Sri Lanka to co-create the next letter “J” with 500 kids.

Date: The last week of May / first week of June, exact date to be confirmed once we have confirmed location

Event duration: 3-4 h + transportation time

Planned location: In a green lush tea feild with the majestic Sri Lankan landscape as a backdrop

Invited: 500 children (age 6-13) + local community and companies who wants to  support

Cost: Complementary for the children, including transportation, food, drinks, entertainment, giveaways and a memory for life.

Photographer: Filip Cederholm Agoo

The location is the most imortant thing for making a stunning picture. The picture shall both represents the country in the best way and raise millions for kids charities, and the more beautiful the picture is the greater chance is it that people want to hang it on the wall.

Our thoughts is to show the beutiful green lush landscape with the significant tea plantations and are currently location scouting on the island.

Get Involved!

Once we found the perfect location we will connect with nearby schools and charities to find 500 kids to empower and create the letter together with.

ABC Charity selects 1-5 trustworthy and reputable kids charities in Sri Lanka to register as recipients of the funds from the art sold in the ABC Charity webshop. To enable “KIDS HELPING KIDS” ABC Charity only work with organizations who support kids’s wellbeing, creativity and education,

Press & Media

We invite and welcome any and all press and media to get in touch with us to see how we can collaborate! We’ve already been published in over 100 newspapers around the World including +10 cover story, we also appeared multiple times on TV & Radio.

National Ambassadors

In every country we invite influencal and kind hearted people to support the project and help us get the word out and create awareness.

In every country we go to, we invite local and national musicians to create and produce music at the event for the kids!

Event Sponsors

The event sponsors are the backbone of the ABC Charity event sponsoring with their products and services and in return, they get a unique sponsor package.

We love a good party and so do the kids! Let’s work together to get the kids dancing, singing, hula-hooping, and swinging through the day. Anything that can elevate the experience is welcome:

  • Clown
  • Face painting
  • Hula hoops
  • Beachballs
  • Frisbees
  • Slackline
  • Or let us know what you would love if you were a kid at an ABC Charity event?

A “Kind is the new cool” is gifted to all the kids when they arrive at the event to set the stage for the day. When the day is over, we give all the kids an “I can change the world” gold medal, so they embody that they are positive change makers and have made a difference by creating the letter they were in.

Mmm jummy! After all the running, jumping and playing the kids are going to be needing a delicious snack – help us feed them something absolutely delicious, preferably healthy as well! Below you’ll find the kids which list:

  • Food / snack
  • A nutritious drink/juice
  • Additional water

Volunteers keep the machine moving on the day of the production – you’ll help us coordinate on the day, carry and prepare, give the kids t-shirts and giveaways, making sure the kids are safe, feed and are having the time of their life. Below are the different needs at the events:

  • 15-30 coordination volunteers who hand out food, play’s with the kids, support when organizing the letter and clean the event area after production
  • 5-10 authorities, the police or fire department secures the area making sure the kids are safe
  • 2-3 nurses, just in case anyone gets a bruise or a scraped knee, we like to make sure the kids are kept safe

We seak to partner with a bus company that can help with transportation of approximately 500 kids to and from the event. In return, we will take beautiful pictures of the kids and the busses for the bus company to use.

The picture is taken from anything that can get the photographer up 10-40 meter depending on the location. It can be a crane, helicopter, construction scaffolding or a 20-meter Bambu tower.

Why not a drone? A drone would be a much easier way to take the picture, however, it is not considered photo art unless the photographer holds the camera. Since the pictures are sold to raise a lot of money for charity we will do everything we can to increase the value of the picture.

Safety first! If we take the picture in a more dangerous place, we will keep the kids in an enclosed area to make sure everyone is having fun and staying safe. Depending on the weather we might need tents for sun or rain protection.  To secure the area :

  • Poles
  • Marking band/police tape
  • Popup tents/party tents or anything that protects the kids

With music, speeches, and artists performing, we try and get sound set up in order to make sure we’re heard loud and clear.

  • Stage 3×4 meter 1 meter high
  • Soundsystem enough to entertain 500 kids
  • 2 wireless microphones
  • Additional microphones depending on the performance
  • 2 megaphones to organize the kids when we are arranging the letter

Join us and co-create, we invite photographers and videoagraphers to support ABC Charity with additional pictures from the event. The pictures will be used in the article from the event, in social media and press. To join please send us your portfolio and then we’ll make a plan.

We are all humans and we all know how awful it is when you can’t go, especially if you are a kid. We therefore always arrange with toilets for the kids, how they look will vary depending on where we are in the world, but they all fulfill the same purpose.

To celebrate the production and further inspire we love to exhibit at the town hall or at any other suitable space in the country we produced. We would like to invite key persons from the country, authorities and celebrities to come and see what the kids created.

The companies or people who can support with any of the above receive the following sponsor package.

  • Printed A3 “Letter Of Appreciation” awarded to you or your company, including the letter we produced together – see picture to the right
  • Digital “Letter Of Appreciation” for sharing in social media, blog, newsletter, and website
  • Access to the pictures from the event to show your support in social media, blog, newsletter, and website. (Commercial rights not included)
  • Logo exposure in the article from the event one ABC Charity – see picture to the right
  • Ability to come to the event and volunteer
