ABC Charity is a non-profit creating photo art to raise money for different children’s charities around the World. We take pictures of the first ever human alphabet created by approx 500 kids in each letter, one letter per country. The pictures are sold as limited edition photo art in the ABC Charity web-shop, and the sales go to a children’s charity of the buyers choice; giving kids in need a better start in life.
ABC CHARITY’S 2 MAIN PARTS
#1 RAISE MONEY TO CHILDREN’S CHARITY
The core purpose of ABC Charity is to raise money to different children’s charities around the World.
We do that by selling the letters created by the kids in our web shop as limited edition photo art. In each country that we produce a letter we register up to 5 different charities / NPO’s from that country in our web shop. The letters are not connected to any specific charity, so it is always up to the buyer to chose which charity that will benefit from their purchase. 100% of the sales go to the children’s charity selected by the buyer. The only additional cost is for the print itself and the transaction fees (Paypal). Shipping is FREE all around the World thanks to DHL as our generous shipping partner.
#2 CREATE INSPIRING KIDS EVENTS
The events are geared towards empower and inspire the kids who participate.
The events last for approximately 2-3 hours and are completely free of charge for the children thanks to our “Letter Sponsors” and “Event Sponsors”. Photographing the letter takes about 30 minutes. After the picture is completed the kids enjoy the event featuring an inspirational speech, music, snacks, drinks and giveaways. We create one letter per country and in each letter there is approximately 500 children. Prior to the event we visit the schools to talk about ABC Charity and the importance of a caring lifestyle. All kids are welcome to the ABC Charity event’s, but we are always looking to give less privileged kids an experience to remember for a lifetime whenever possible. For example, in South Africa we brought kids from the townships outside Cape Town to the beach for their very first time.
